There is nothing more exciting than having the inside scoop. This is why we’re so excited to share Syiim Swimwear with you guys – the hottest new swimwear collection to hit the indie design scene.
Of course no one is more excited than Juanita S. Reid, beachwear designer, of Syiim Swimwear. Her formal training from Savannah College of Art and Design prepared her for her life long dream of being a swimwear designer and this year Juanita will see that dream realized. With the love and support of her family, starting in high school, Juanita developed a passion for beachwear. That passion blossomed into a raw talent now recognized buy such prestigious companies as XOXO and Baby Phat. This is what one might call “a designers dream come true.”
Juanita is smart, talented and driven & Envynde is dedicated to helping emerging designers grow. Syiim Swimwear is in need of your donations via Kickstarter to get her swimwear line off the ground. She is so close to meeting her goal and with donations starting at $1, your donation can go a long way in meeting her Kickstarter goal. If you wish to support the cause, please donate via Syiim Swimwear Kickstarter Campaign Page.

Growing up in the Caribbean Islands dramatically influences her designs – bold colors, sexy silhouettes, tropical prints and other unique touches sprinkled throughout each piece. As if being a talented designer weren’t enough, she also happens to be a talented graphic artist, pattern maker and stylist; producing numerous high fashion collections and styling her own photo shoots! We would actually run out of room if we typed all of her credentials but check them out for yourself. Click here for Juanita’s full bio.
Syiim swimsuits are not just high fashion, they are made from high quality eco-friendly materials. That’s Right! Being eco-friendly just got sexier! Syiim Swimwear is scheduled to debut this June in the Caribbean Fashion Week, June 7-11. Be sure to keep your eye on Syiim Swimwear and check her website this summer for the unveiling of her entire collection. Juanita is making moves and we’ll be able to say “We knew her when…”
