Not even going to down play it – today I’m blogging about my favorite indie designer, but I promise you’re going to love her. At the risk of sounding like a stalker – I’ve been watching Nha Khanh since the Dallas Pin Show 2010. Her name and breezy, effortless style has always stuck with me. Nha Khanh launched her clothing line Spring of 2011. What originally drew me to her line was her innovated take on classic looks but Khanh continues to keep my attention every season, putting todays trends into looks that transcend all body types. The fact is, even though she’s pixie sized, she designs for every woman.
“Nha Khanh’s designs focus on modern glamour, inspired by art, architecture and most importantly, nature. The designs are ethereal; meticulously constructed, and host an ease about them that allows for an effortless sensibility. The company offers seasonal “advanced contemporary” ready-to-wear; a custom Atelier collection, which hosts one of a kind and custom pieces, and a bridal line.“
Nha Khanh is brilliant this Fall / Winter – delicate laces, full skirts, high-low hems and a cigarette pant straight out of an Audrey Hepburn film. And the pop colors Nha Khanh has chosen for Fall / Winter are so on trend; giving us a flavor similar to Lakme Fashion Week designers Astha Sethi and Sidharth Arora. Check her out:
